| October 18, 2018 Tonight at 12:01 California time, the iPhone XR goes on sale for pre-orders. This phone is very similar in practice to the iPhone XS that you can already buy, but it's got a few huge benefits: it's way cheaper, comes in lots of colors, and has better battery life. The only drawback is really that the screen is LCD instead of OLED, but for daily use, it's not a huge deal. The iPhone XR is definitely the phone that we'd recommend for most people, and a couple of us are going to be staying up to pre-order one tonight. As usual, we've got all the details over at Review Geek. Turns out that Facebook hack was done by spammers trying to find a way to send us all more spammy ads on Facebook. Lucky us. Microsoft has started pushing builds to Windows Insiders for the next version of Windows, coming in Spring 2019. Rather than using a fun codename like "Redstone 5", the code name for this release is "19H1". The first new feature?
