Google Announces New Pixels, Powerful Chrome OS Tablet, Smart Display, and More

Today Google announced all of their new Pixel hardware—the new Pixel 3 phone with a bigger and better screen, the powerful new Pixel Slate tablet that runs ChromeOS, a new smart display, and a lot more things including great features around helping you take better photos.

While all of those things are interesting, what we’re most excited for is the Pixel Slate, which is the reason that Google has been transforming ChromeOS—at this point, ChromeOS might be the perfect tablet operating system. If you’re in tablet mode, you can use touch-friendly Android apps, and once you attach the keyboard, you can actually use a full desktop browser. It’s amazing.
