NTU

An NTU (short for Network Termination Unit) is a device that serves as the final interconnecting point (bridge) between a CPE (Customer’s Private/Premises Equipment) and a PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network).

The NTU is usually owned by the service provider and supports various communication standards, including protocols and voltages, that allows different equipment and device types to communicate with the PSTN.
