Powermat is a wireless charging technology (using the PMA charging protocol) that allows for wireless charging of electronic devices such as mobile phones, tablets, wearable devices, etc. If a particular device does not have built-in support for PMA charging, then a specially-focused app can be downloaded along with purchasing an accessory ring that can plug into the device, allowing it to be charged.
