After Power Failure

After Power Failure is a power management setting option found in the BIOS for computers with Intel desktop motherboards. The After Power Failure feature allows a user to select the desired setting from three available options:

  1. Stay Off: The computer remains powered off until the power button is pushed.
  2. Last Stable State: The computer is restored to its previous power state (on or off) before the power loss occurred.
  3. Power On: Power is restored and the computer restarts.
