Out of the Big Three auto makers in the United States—General Motors, Ford Motor Company, and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles—only one of them isn’t named after the founder. Ford is named after Henry Ford and Chrysler is named after Walter Chrysler. General Motors was founded by William Durant who, sadly, did not name his company Durant Motors.
